Overview

This course explores the SRA’s expectations around workplace culture, leadership and staff wellbeing in regulated law firms. Drawing on the SRA’s Workplace Culture Thematic Review, it examines how culture affects behaviour, decision-making, supervision and client outcomes. Through expert insight, practical examples and reflective scenarios, you'll explore the building blocks of an SRA-compliant culture, the role of leadership in setting standards, and how wellbeing, workload and psychological safety are managed in practice.

The course supports leaders and managers in recognising risks early and taking appropriate action.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the key elements of an SRA-compliant workplace culture, including values, policy and leadership
  • Recognise warning signs that culture or wellbeing issues may be increasing regulatory and client risk
  • Apply leadership behaviours that support psychological safety, fair treatment and effective supervision
